Unfortunately, we fell short of our goal by ~$50 (after fee reductions).   6. Hello everyone, I'm pleased to announce the Board of Directors has officially approved the creation of {TCG}'s very own Public Relations Team. I'm also pleased to announce that I will be heading up this team. For those who may not be aware, I led the PR team (formerly the media team) for nearly a year starting in early 2016. The role of the Public Relations team is to create, coordinate, and maintain effective PR campaigns for our community and its servers. The PR team is the face of {TCG} and in many cases they are the first people prospective players will interact with. As such, the team works very closely with with community and division leadership to ensure that everything is informative, captivating, and is up to our highest standards. The Island Life and Minecraft Divisions of {TCG} will be participating in coordination with the PR team. The 75th Ranger Regiment already has a successful in-house recruitment team so they will not directly participate in advertising their division via the PR team. That said, 75th members are more than welcome to apply if they have experience in advertising/PR and they want to help the community grow. Prospective applicants can check out the new application here: http://tcgaming.net/forms/16-public-relations-team-application/ At this time we do not require applicants to be {TCG} Members, but this is certainly subject to change without notice. All applications received will be carefully reviewed by myself (@Walrus), and Division Leadership. Once we have a team roster established, voting will also go to team members. I believe this to be the best way of ensuring that everyone at the table has a voice; it is crucial we build a cohesive team to increase efficiency. Thats everything I can think of at this time.   7. Good evening {TCG}, I just wanted to notify everyone that there has been a very important (major) update to the Community Guidelines. This update tackles recent concerns raised regarding unsolicited representation of the Community, permanent ban evasion, and introduces a Staff Conduct section. All {TCG} Staff are required to read the new Guidelines and report back to their supervisors (game division leadership) stating they understand the new changes. Community members are also strongly encouraged to acquaint themselves with the new changes as it affects everyone here at {TCG}.   10. Hello everyone, I am currently planning out an overhaul of the Teamspeak group permissions. There have been ongoing issues with various groups not having enough, or having too much powers, so I'm going to solve it once and for all. Furthermore, I'll do my best to future proof the TS so this does not have to be done again. Expect to experience weird group sort orders, temporary missing groups, etc. Please do not worry, I am recording client IDs per group as I go along. If there's any issues, I'll reference the forums. This process may take upwards of a few weeks, I'm extremely busy with school and can only work on a group or two at a time. This is a project I'm undertaking by myself which is also a factor. I am going to do my best for testing, but some help may be needed (I will contact you directly if that is the case). Just wanted to let you know not to panic or get confused. That's all for now.   13. Bump, one more update to let you guys know about. In the 'Who's Online' section of the main forums page (at the bottom), I've updated it to more efficiently display ranks. Previously, it exclusively displayed the 75th ranks, and nothing else. With the arrival of Island Life, I figured it was due time for an upgrade. Please bear in mind that this is actually still a work in progress - we're modifying the colours to make it easier to read and establish which rank goes with their respective group.
  14. Good evening everyone, I just wanted to take the opportunity to bring everyone up to speed on changes to the website. All form and application links are now in one spot, easily found and categorized in the top menu bar. There may be some overlap (contact the board), but they are relevant to the sections duplicated in. I've opted to leave the 75th MEPS application out of the MILSIM drop down to make it easier to find for new members. Community {TCG} Member Application (Not implemented yet) Name change request Tag request Contact the board Anonymously contact the board Minecraft Moderator Application (Not implemented yet) Appeal a ban ArmA 2 Island Life PD Application EMS Application (Not drafted yet) Appeal a ban (Not drafted yet) MILSIM (75th Ranger Regiment) 1st Cavalry Application 75th Ranger Regiment MEPS Staff & Rules have been amalgamated into one drop down menu. It now contains the Staff Directory, a Staff Portal, Community Guidelines, and it will link up to the various division related rules when those are made available. A Support section has been created, but does not contain anything at this time. It will be the future home of an FAQ section, guides on how to install mods, and more. A Contact Us drop down menu has been created to house the Contact the Board form and the Anonymously Contact the Board form. Modifications have also been made to update the anonymous contact form. Other updates include: Staff directory updates. Leadership structure update. Introductions forum created under the "General Discussion" section in "The Community Square" header. Footer updates. Welcome message updates. {TCG} Member private discussion area created. Name change request form modified and updated for enhanced clarity. (It is specifically for requesting to have your NAME, not RANK changed.) Known issues: We are aware of an issue with the CW5 group not displaying a tag. It will be fixed shortly. Donation module displaying "August Donation Goals" instead of "September Donation Goals". That's all I've got for now. I'm pleased to announce Gamerz ArmA 2 Island Life division server is getting close to release, so stick around! Great things are coming to {TCG}!
